  • Roles and Responsibilities:

     

    Assisting in curating and updating wine lists

    Recommending food and wine pairings to clients

    Showcasing and informing clients about the different wine varieties

    Placing orders for wines

    Contacting and negotiating prices with vendors and wine makers

    Organizing and managing wine tasting events

    Reviewing and ensuring that the wine cellar is stocked at all times

    Ensuring compliance to the food and health safety measures and regulations

    Coordinating with the waiters to serve wine at the right temperature

    Arranging and using proper glassware for serving wine

    Ensuring that open wine bottles are stored properly

    Verifying guest IDs to check legal drinking age

     

    Education and Experience:

     

    Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or a related field

    Minimum 2 years of proven work experience as a Sommelier, Wine Steward or Stewardess or a similar role in a reputed restaurant or     the Hospitality industry

    Excellent knowledge of different types of wines, wineries, and local vineyards

    Understanding of the wine making process, food pairings, and glassware used

    Excellent communication and presentation skills

    Good time management and organizational skills

    Display good hygiene standards

  • Job Overview: The Personal Assistant will provide high-level administrative support to the Managing Director/Owner, managing schedules, coordinating communications, and facilitating interactions with key stakeholders. The candidate should have significant PR experience and a strong network within the industry.
  • Roles and Responsibilities:

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Administrative Support:

      • Manage the Managing Director’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.

      • Prepare and organize documents for meetings, ensuring the Managing Director is well-prepared.

      • Handle correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and letters, on behalf of the Managing Director.

      • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

    2. PR and Industry Relationships:

      • Develop and maintain relationships with key industry leaders, stakeholders, and media contacts.

      • Coordinate and facilitate meetings, events, and interactions with the Ministry and other industry leaders.

      • Assist in the preparation and distribution of press releases, newsletters, and other PR materials.

      • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings as needed.

    3. Project Management:

      • Assist the Managing Director with various projects, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.

      • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate project execution.

      • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Managing Director.

    4. Event Planning and Coordination:

      • Organize and coordinate events, including industry conferences, company functions, and networking events.

      • Ensure all events are well-planned and executed, reflecting the company’s standards and objectives.

      • Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and guest invitations.

    5. Communication and Liaison:

      • Act as the point of contact between the Managing Director and internal/external parties.

      • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across different departments.

      • Draft, review, and edit reports, presentations, and other documents as required.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or similar role, preferably in the fashion, hospitality, or retail real estate industries.

    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

    • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.

    • Experience in PR and industry relationship management.

    • Highly proactive and self-motivated.

    • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

    • Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
