The factory  commenced  its  manufacturing  operations  on  November 10th, 1999. The plant has been designed with pre fabricated building systems, which allows a width span of 56 meters without a single column in between. The manufacturing plant has a floor of 50,000  square  feet  and storage  capacity  of 20,000 square feet. It has an additional 20,000 square feet for the canteen and laundry. This plant is well equipped to do high quality men's wrinkle/resistant trousers using the post-cure technology. The best of USA brands such as Haggar and Docker's are some of Sai Lakshmi's core customers for these products over the last few years. The team in Sai Lakshmi has built its experience and expertise in laundry management and is building a capacity from the current capacity of 5,000 units per day to 10,000 units per day by October 2006.
